Who are the Johnsons

Both of us are retired and are currently RVing in Snowbird mode. We travel in a 2011 Georgetown motorhome towing a Jeep Wranglerf.

Although we have owned a motorhome since 2009, the 2017/18 winter will be our sixth year of non-vacation traveling. For this season, we hope to explore some of the national Parks in the Southwest and in the warmer Spring months exploring the Pacific Northwest with a follow-on summer trip to Alaska.

Who are we? Ina worked for many years as a cook for several Hotel chains and is very active as a Deacon in her Protestant church. Me, I'm a 23 year Air Force retiree and a retired IT industry geek. After military service, I started in IT as a database programmer and then retired in 2012 from the American Chemical Society as a Lead Systems Engineer and LANDesk Administrator.

We both enjoy hosting cookouts and dinners. In addition to playing with computers and other technology; I occasionally do some fishing and DIY home projects. I'm also somewhat addicted to TV news and politics (rarely watching prime time dramas or sitcoms).

Although fulltime is presently a dream, we are comfortable spending warmer months of the year home-based at our house in Woodbridge Virginia.
